Physician Supervised Wound Care in a Convenient Clinic Setting

Not every patient qualifies for mobile wound care, but that does not mean you have to go without specialized treatment. The Mobile Wound Center also offers in-clinic appointments at our Chattanooga location for patients who are able to travel or do not meet the requirements for mobile care. Our team will evaluate your needs and help determine the most appropriate setting for your treatment.

Our goal is to make advanced wound care accessible to more patients throughout Chattanooga and the surrounding region. While mobile visits are designed for eligible patients who face mobility, medical, or transportation challenges, our clinic provides another way to receive attentive, physician-led wound care. Patients receive individualized evaluation, treatment, education, and ongoing monitoring from a team focused on complex and non-healing wounds.

Whether your care is provided at home or in our clinic, your treatment plan is based on your wound, overall health, circulation, healing progress, and individual needs.

What to Expect at Your Clinic Appointment

Comprehensive Evaluation

Your provider will review your medical history, medications, previous treatments, symptoms, and factors that may be affecting healing.

Wound Assessment

We will evaluate the wound’s size, depth, tissue condition, drainage, surrounding skin, circulation, swelling, pain, and signs of infection.

Personalized Treatment

Your treatment may include wound cleansing, debridement, advanced dressings, compression, pressure-relief recommendations, infection management, or other therapies based on clinical need.

Education and Instructions

You and your caregiver will receive clear instructions for protecting the wound between visits, changing dressings when appropriate, and recognizing warning signs.

Follow-Up and Care Coordination

We will monitor your healing progress and coordinate with your primary care provider, home-health team, specialists, or caregivers as needed.

Mobile Care or Clinic Care: We’ll Help You Decide

You do not need to determine your eligibility on your own. When you contact The Mobile Wound Center, our team will ask a few questions about your wound, medical condition, location, mobility, insurance coverage, and care needs. Based on that information, we will help determine whether a mobile visit or an appointment at our Chattanooga clinic is the most appropriate option. Coverage and eligibility may vary by insurance plan and individual circumstances.
